We are a new to farming. We purchased 97+ acres and have begun cutting hay on it. We have tried advertising in Southern Maryland Classified Online, however we are not recieving any calls. Can someone tell me where we can sell our hay?

Definitely want to know what type of hay you are cutting - . Are you square baling or round baling? What is the weight of the bales? How is it being stored? What are your prices? Do you deliver? Where are you located for pickup?
Equiery is a good source to advertise with.

What sort of hay? Are you aware of the hay auction at Cheltenhan 800-533-3276?
Also, you might want to get your name on the notice board at Southern States. And 4-H livestock producers might be interested, depending on the quality of the hay.
Finally, you might want to check out the Equine Brochure on our www.somdsogood.com website. You can fill out an application on that site as well. Susan, in SMADC's office can help 301-274-1922 x 1
Good luck!
